Gears 5: Ventilation

The Ventilation family is themed around moving air in and out of the facility in which the Escape mode takes place. It's connected with the other tile families but showcases a very different environment than Mining. Generally the aim was to make you feel like you're walking through a huge machine with often exposed internals.

Similarly to Mining, I worked on many tiles across this tile family alongside the Environment Art team at Splash Damage. As there are many shared assets across all tiles, it was an interesting challenge to build up each tile with a fresh approach, giving each it's own hero asset and identity.
